Poetic Justice

Poectic Justice is a film about lost, enlightenment, trails and tribulations and POETRY, by the outstanding Maya Angelou. This film is no doubt-ably my favorite film of all time, it has passion and inspiration which I feel the film maker, John Singleton has captured very well. You my know some of his previous films: Boyz N Hood, Rose Wood, Baby Boy, and Higher Learning to mention a few, each of all fantastic in their own unique way.
Janet Jackson
plays the lead as Justice, whom has lost loves ones throughout her life. This has made her collapse into to herself and withdrawn from the world. Her only solitude and backbone was
her boyfriend, whom later was murdered. Justice becomes more withdrawn, defensive, and cold towards life, as everyone she loves leaves her. Her only escape and focus from the real world is poetry. Poetry plays a major role in this film hence the title (Poetic Justice), although trapped within her own thoughts and cradled by the sadness, she puts pen to paper to ease the pain that she feels. Justice soon learns to love again, even though she finds it hard to let people in. she’s introduced to a man named Lucky, played by (2Pac Shakur). Very opposite mismatch they are, feelings soon develop to Justices surprise, and she soon finds a love connection.
This is a must see film, that will make you want to watch it again again. The poetry is amazing by Maya Angelou, (Phenomenal Women, Alone....) and it has some funny moments as well as sad. This film is not just for the poetry lovers, but for those of you who can really appreciate a film that
’s deep and real as life can be. Poetic Justice is original and unforgettable just like Boyz N Hood, so peeps go out and purchase it from HMV or Amazon etc...

"Cause nobody, but nobody, can make it out here alone"
